TREsemmé Keratin Smooth Review

When I first heard about the TREsemmé Keratin Smooth System I was so excited! I live in Florida and it is so humid here. So, for women like me who have super thick, naturally curly hair and want it smooth and straight, humidity is a nightmare!!!

Ok so to be completely honest I am half disappointed...let me explain:

When I first applied the Shampoo in the shower I was taken aback by the smell. It does not smell very good, which was shocking to me because I usually love the smell of TREsemmé products. Then I thought to myself if my hair can stay frizz free for 48 hours (the claim on the bottle) I can deal with the smell!

I used both the Shampoo and the Conditioner and then applied both the Serum and Heat Protection spray before blow-drying and straightening. Ok so here is what I love about it.. It left my hair feeling silky smooth! The whole time I was in my house it stayed frizz free, but the minute I stepped outside it turned into a frizzy, curly hot mess!

This system is definitely meant for women who have naturally straight hair. It did help a little which is why I am only half disappointed. But I will still need to put in more products to help with the frizz, which will weigh down my hair more and not look healthy. The Heat Protection Spray was fabulous though!! I will repurchase this when I run out!

That is my review for the Keratin Smooth System. I am still on the lookout for a system that will help with the frizz and curling that humidity does to my hair. For those looking to purchase, this system cost me about $20.00 for everything.

Have you tried the TREsemmé Keratin Smooth? What did you think?

Top 5 Nail Polishes for the Summer

I wanted to share my favorite 5 nail polishes for this Summer!! It was a bit tricky just because I wanted to pick them all!! But, I managed to pick my favorite 5.

#1- Essie Tart Deco- This is an amazing color!! It is a beautiful mango peach color. It goes with almost any outfit. Peaches and Teals are very in this Summer so you can't go wrong with this shade.

#2- China Glaze Flip Flop Fantasy- Who does not like a hot pink nail polish?!? This is a beautiful Summer shade and looks great on any skin type.

#3- NYX Girls Sweetest Pink- It is a must to have a pale pink in your nail polish collection! This bottle was only $1.34! For the price I was a little skeptical, but it turned out great. It goes on very smooth and you can almost get away with only one coat of polish!

#4- China Glaze Pool Party- This color will trick you if you go by the color you see in the bottle. It looks almost like a bright pinkish red color. When you apply it though it comes out almost as a neon orange color! Gorgeous!

#5- Essie Play Date- The only reason this beautiful shade of purple is #5 on my list is just because I usually don't wear purple. It is not my favorite go to shade. (I am a pink/peach shade kind of girl) But if you want a pretty purple color this one is great!

What are your favorite shades this Summer?
